Wendy Cox Blair, MS
I am a dual certified teacher in Elementary Education and Exceptional Student Education. I have taught students of all ages and abilities for 30+ years in Pennsylvania, Alaska, Washington, and Florida. I currently hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Human Services with a specialty in Counseling Children and Adolescents. I also have been a facilitator for Social Bridges since 2009.I have been with Arbor School since 2005 first as the Lead Teacher and then as Director in 2010. I am married and with 4 grown children and 5 grandchildren.
Sarah Canfield, MS, OTR/L
Therapy Director/ Occupational Therapist
I am an Occupational Therapist certified in Floortime with additional certifications in Therapeutic Listening, Astronaut training and MNRI Reflex Integration (in progress). My past experiences include co-teaching at the Arbor school, 4 years as an instructor for the Learn to Learn program and volunteer work as guardian ad litem through Seminole County and teaching preschool. During my free time I work hard on perfecting my nap taking skills and enjoy running away to Disney with my soon-to-be husband. I have been with the Arbor School since 2011.
Working with children in my passion! I have been working with children for more than 18 years now and love every minute. I have my B.A. from U.C.F. in Interdisicplinary Studies with a minor in Sociology. I joined Arbor School in February of 2017. In my spare time I love spending time with my family and friends and living life to the fullest.
Business Development Director
My role at The Arbor School is to solidify community relations and to grow our loyal donor group. My experience over the last 15 years includes management, corporate training, marketing, and business development. In my free time I enjoy many outdoor activities and spending time with my wonderful wife and family.
Anette Donahoe MA, CCC/SLP
I have been servicing the needs of the pediatric and school age population since 2009. After earning a Master of Arts degree from the University of Central Florida, this population was my focus with a philosophy to provide functional therapy thus increasing language, speech, and communication skills needed to build effective social relationships or to enhance academic performance. I joined Arbor School in 2010.
Jennifer Hovsepian MA, CCC/SLP
I joined Arbor School in 2014 after working at Orange County Public Schools as a speech-language pathologist since 2007. I have been involved with special needs education since 1999. I am ASHA certified, and maintain additional teacher certifications in special education, prekindergarten, and reading endorsement. I have always maintained an interest in autism, and am very excited to be certified in the DIR Floortime program through The Arbor School.
Jenine Moore, COTA/L
I graduated from Keiser University in 1999. I have worked as a COTA/L for the past 14 years in both geriatric and pediatric settings. I have worked in private schools, public schools, pediatric skills nursing, and clinical settings. I am the mother of 2 children and enjoy figure skating and crafting. I joined Arbor School in 2011.
Primary Teaching Staff
I earned my Master of Music degree from Eastman School of Music with certification in Exceptional Education K-12 and Reading Education K-12. I owned my own business for 31 years and have worked with exceptional adults and children for over 20 years. On a personal note, I originally wanted to be a opera singer.
I have been working with students with disabilities for nearly five years. I have also spent over ten years working with young people on skill development as well as coaching for football and basketball. I received my Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from the University of Maine at Farmington. I moved to Florida from Maine in 2014.
I have been working with special needs students for 18 years. I have worked as a supportive living coach as well as working in behavioral support in the home. I love working with special needs students. It is wonderful helping them move forward toward their goals and dreams. I have been with Arbor School since 2013.
I have always had a love for kids! Before I moved from New York to Florida where I earned my Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license. I am also currently enrolled in a Registered Nursing (RN) Program in hopes of specializing in pediatrics when I graduate. Helping and educating children is my passion. I joined The Arbor School in 2016.
I am currently completing my Bachelor's of Applied Science in Business Management at UCF. I have worked with children of varying abilities for the past 4 years. I was a paraprofessional with Seminole County Public Schools for 3 of those years, 1 year working as a Registered Behavior Technician doing 1:1 ABA Therapy with special needs children. I have been with The Arbor School since early 2016. In my time away form work and school, I spend time with my baby girl and taking naps.
This year I am celebrating my 25th Anniversary with my husband and we have two beautiful daughters. We moved to the Central Florida Area in the summer of 2016. I started working at the Arbor School in February of 2017. I am working with the Middle school classes assisting Mr. Mike and Mrs. Dorothy. I am excited and look forward to being here and working with the kids as they grow and learn.
I graduated with my B.S. in Elementary Education from Florida Southern College. My areas of certification are Elementary Education 1-6, Exceptional Education K-12, and ESOL Endorsed. I have worked with individuals with Special Needs for 3 years. I have worked in a variety of settings ranging from elementary schools to residential facilities with this population. I got married back in April and we have a cat named Lily. My hobbies are reading, bike riding and exploring new places. I joined Arbor School in 2015.
I have been working in the public school system for 17 years. I taught the core subjects, life skills, and social skills in a classroom setting to children with varied exceptionalities. I really enjoy working with the children because they like to have fun and they make me smile.

I am completing my Bachelor of the Arts degree in English: British Literature with a minor in History from the University of Central Florida. In my free time, I read and spend time with my family. I have been with Arbor School since September 2008.
High School History Teacher
I graduated cum laude from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. My three areas of study were education, history, and behavioral science. I have worked with children and students in many capacities as well as at all levels of teaching. I joined the Arbor School in 2015.
High School Science Teacher
I have worked in many capacities with students of many ages and abilities for ten years.I began my career as a substitute teacher in Seminole County Public Schools in 200, I moved into being a paraprofessional in 2008. I loved it so much, I went to school to get my teaching degree. I graduated from UCF in 2013 and began working in Seminole County Public Schools at the Middle School level. I enjoy working with the older students and enjoy the daily challenges of teaching students with varying abilities. I joined Arbor School in 2014.
I am from New York City, in 2008 I began my work and fascination with the Autistic and Development Disability community through Pure Vision Art Studio. I moved to Orlando in the Fall of 2014 and worked as a severe handicapped paraprofessional for OCPS. The 2016 school year will be my first at The Arbor School of Central Florida. In my spare time I play a mean guitar.
High School English & Reading Teacher
A graduate of Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania School of Education, I hold Florida certification in Elementary Education and Special Education. In addition, I have specialized training from the Michigan Dyslexia Institute in the Orton Gillingham Approach, a remedial program for challenged readers. My passion is in teaching and experiencing the joy of success with students of all ages and abilities. I have been a resident of Florida for more than 25 years and enjoy so much that Florida has to offer, especially the beach. I am blessed with terrific family and friends, including three adult children and one granddaughter. I joined Arbor School in 2015.
I graduated with my B.S. in Special Education focusing on students with Emotional/Behavioral Disorders and Specific Learning Disabilities from the University of South Florida. My areas of certification are Emotional/Behavioral Disorders, Specific Learning Disabilities, Eng. 6-12, Elementary Ed. K-6, and ESOL Endorsed. I have worked with individuals with Special Needs for over 30 years. I have worked in a variety of settings ranging from elementary schools to nursing homes to hospitals with this population. Throughout my 14 years’ experience in the school setting, I have worked with every level and demographic of child and every age range. In addition to English, I am fluent in American Sign Language. I joined Arbor School in 2015.
High School Math Teacher
I received my BA degree in Education and English. I began my post graduate studies in Syria. After coming to USA, I continued post graduate studies in mathematics. I'm happily married and have two great teenagers. I enjoy reading in English and in Arabic. My family and I love swimming, walking on the beach and hanging together. I joined Arbor School in 2013.
I majored in Fine Arts at the University of South Florida. I have been working with children for over 15 years, including children with diabetes, at risk youth and children with special needs. I spent 6 years as a program director for the Boys & Girls Club before turning to teaching at Threshold. I joined Arbor School in 2011.
I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. After graduating from UCF, I became a speech and language pathologist with Orange County Public Schools. Last year I accepted a position with a national nonprofit to become a Job Coach helping ESE students transition from the school system to the workforce.
